Ready for Construction

A house can be built anytime because the land has been developed with underground drainage, facility connections and roads.

Ready for Occupancy (RFO)

A house or property that is ready for immediate occupancy. A house that is completely constructed and livable. We do not have standards to make a unit be called RFO as there are no existing laws that requires if it need to have a complete facility. Other houses in subdivisions on other hand sold with Bare Finish, Standard Finish and Fully-furnished.

When a unit is described as RFO, it means the homeowner can move in immediately after purchase since the property has already been built.

Real Estate Agent

Real estate agents are licensed professionals who arrange real estate transactions for either a buyer or a seller. An accredited salesperson but is not a real estate broker. An agent is required to undergo education pertaining to real estate law and ethics.

Real Estate Appraiser

A duly registered and licensed person who, for a professional fee, compensation, or other valuable consideration, performs, renders, or offers to perform services in estimating and arriving at an opinion of or acts as an expert on real estate values, such services of which shall finally be rendered by the preparation of the report in acceptable written form.

Real Estate Assessor

A duly registered and licensed person who works in a local government unit and performs appraisal and assessment of real properties including plants, equipments, and machineries for taxation purposes.

Real Estate Board

An organization where members consist of primarily of real estate brokers and salespeople.

Real Estate Broker (REB)

Real estate brokers are real estate agents but with a broker's license. They work for a real estate brokerage and assist buyers or sellers in the transfer of ownership of a property, much like a real estate agent. A person who has passed the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Exam administered by the PRC. Thus, a broker is licensed to conduct a real estate transaction between a buyer and a seller. A person who, for a commission or a fee, brings parties together and assists in negotiating contracts between them. This is a duly registered and licensed natural person who, for a professional fee, commission, or other valuable consideration, acts as an agent of a party in a real estate transaction to offer, advertise, solicit, list, promote, mediate, negotiate or effect the meeting of the minds on the sale, purchase, exchange, mortgage, lease or joint venture, or other similar transactions on real estate or any interest therein.

Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines (REBAP)

A group of licensed real estate brokers aiming to pursue their common objectives of truly professionalizing the real estate industry and raising the level of ethical standards of licensed real estate practitioners.

Real Estate Consultant

A duly registered and licensed person who, for a professional fee, compensation, or other valuable consideration, offers or renders professional advice and judgement on: acquisition, enhancement, preservation, utilization or disposition of lands or improvements thereon.

Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)

REITs are corporations that own and manage a portfolio of real estate properties and mortgages.
